Hotel Alpenruhe - Vintage Design Hotel - Wengen

Just a great match for a lightning stop in Wengen with excellent value for money. The buffet breakfast had something for everyone and was delicious. Try the Fondue Chinoise on Saturday evenings for a treat!

The location was fantastic, not too far from Wengen-Mannlichen. The staff was pretty friendly, amiable all the time.

The breakfast is cheap and amazing, available with swiss sausages. I have stayed in the triple room with great views. The location is secluded, very close to Alpenruhe. Would stay there again if I go back to Wengen...

The views from my balcony were amazing every morning. The breakfast spread was a feast, especially the fresh breads and cheeses. The staff was always eager to help. It had a unique atmosphere. Very happy I chose this place 😊

The room is decent size and huge and there are great views of the mountains and the valley far below. Very welcoming staff ensures you spend an excellent time here.

Day of hiking. The staff's warmth, even preparing a quick breakfast for us before dawn. While the uphill walk from the station is manageable, some might find it a bit challenging with heavy luggage.

Cozy and comfortable, the room offered a small balcony for fresh air, although we missed mountain views. The warm, friendly staff provided excellent service and fulfilled special requests. Breakfast was a good spread, and the arranged pick-up from the station eased our arrival with luggage.

The hotel is spotless with relatively cheap breakfasts and outstandingly accommodating and really friendly staff. The double room is well-appointed, we also liked spectacular views. All in all they offer great service. It offers easy check-in. Thank you for a fine stay.

I wish the room sizes were larger!!! A kettle or microwave in the room would be helpful for late-night snacks!!! The uphill access can be strenuous for those with heavy luggage!!!

The large corner room with a balcony offered amazing views. Breakfast featured an ample selection, with local cheeses and fresh fruit ensuring a good start to the day. Although the 10-minute uphill walk from the train station can be a bit strenuous, the cozy atmosphere and warm hospitality were nice. The addition of more breakfast options would enhance the culinary experience further.

The beautiful double room (number 51) was quite spacious and offered a amazing view of the mountains. The buffet breakfast included an excellent selection of fresh breads and cheeses, with English breakfast available upon request. The staff provided really good service, always eager to assist.

The hotel has a charming vintage design and amazing views. The staff was super friendly, and breakfast included delicious freshly baked bread and eggs cooked just how you like em.

The Single Room with Balcony and Mountain View was cozy and had a amazing view of Lauterbrunnen. The bed was super comfy. I loved the little balcony where I could soak in the views. The bathroom was a bit tight, though, especially for toiletries. Still, the overall vibe was good. Breakfast was also a highlight, especially with the fresh local cheeses!

The setting here is stunning, surrounded by lush green mountains and offering easy access to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Winteregg.
